Protocol

The Unity Eco Protocol

Unity Eco is a DeFi yield layer that sits between your real-world money and the on-chain world. You deposit in any format. We handle the conversion, the custody, and the yield strategy. You hold USDu and watch it grow.

How Deposits Work

Accepted inputs: credit card (Stripe), bank transfer (ACH/SEPA), USDC, ETH, WBTC, and major ERC-20 tokens. All inputs are converted to USDC at market rate through optimized swap routing. USDC is then deposited into Unity yield vaults.

Yield Strategies

Unity vaults run two primary strategies. Yield farming deploys USDC into battle-tested protocols (Aave, Compound, Yearn) and automatically compounds returns. Concentrated liquidity market making (CLMM) provides liquidity to DEX pools in defined price ranges for higher-efficiency yield — managed by the protocol rebalancer, not you.

USDu: The Unity Stablecoin

Every dollar of USDC deposited mints one USDu. USDu is fully backed 1:1 and redeemable for USDC at any time. The difference is that USDu holders earn the protocol yield in real time — your balance grows passively without any action required. Spend USDu directly through Unity Cash or redeem for USDC whenever you want out.

The UNY Backstop

Unity Network holds a strategic UNY reserve. When yield strategies underperform or liquidity events create losses, the protocol draws from this reserve first. User balances are protected by the treasury before any depositor bears a loss. Locking UNY as collateral in your Unity Cash account also unlocks boosted yield rates and higher card tiers.

Unity L3: Our Own Chain

We are building Unity L3, an Ethereum L3 built on top of Base (Coinbase's L2). The Unity L3 settles to Base, which settles to Ethereum mainnet. This gives us sub-cent gas costs, millisecond finality, and the full security of Ethereum as the ultimate settlement layer. All Unity Eco contracts will migrate to L3 at mainnet launch.

Smart Contract Architecture

Core contracts: UnityVault (ERC-4626 compliant yield vault), USDu (ERC-20 rebase stablecoin), UNYToken (ERC-20 governance + utility), UnityRouter (deposit/withdraw routing), UnityRebalancer (automated CLMM position manager). All contracts are open-source under MIT license.
