About Unity Eco

Unity Eco is the blockchain and DeFi infrastructure layer of the Unity Network. We build the protocols that power Unity Cash, USDu, and the UNY token.

The idea is simple: most people leave money idle in bank accounts earning nothing. DeFi offers genuine yield, but the barrier to entry — wallets, gas, bridging, protocol research — keeps most people out. Unity Eco removes every one of those barriers.

Deposit in dollars. Receive USDu. Earn yield in real time. Spend it with a card. That is the full loop, and none of it requires crypto knowledge.

Why Build on Base?

Base is Coinbase's Ethereum L2 — battle-tested, regulatory-friendly, and integrated into the largest US crypto on-ramp. Building our L3 on top of Base gives us Ethereum's security guarantees at a fraction of the cost, with the brand credibility and on-ramp infrastructure that Base inherits from Coinbase.

Our L3 will use the OP Stack (same as Base) with a Unity sequencer, giving us full control over fees, throughput, and future protocol upgrades while remaining EVM-compatible.
